Memorial Day Event

We has a blast on Memorial Day. Pastor Luis and Carmen Dick were early at Turkey Creek (Medard Park) setting up a fabulous BBQ meal for everyone. From the typical hot dogs and hamburgers to the non typical rice and salad, we had a feast. With everyone bringing some sort of food, we had plenty to go around.
Our First Service

Last night’s (Friday, May 22, 2009) service made history. After preparing for 3 years, Pastor Luis Dick celebrated his first service. All the Glory to God. I have to say that I feel like when I first converted to Jesus Christ. Its refreshing and inspiring to see and hear positive messages coming from a leader. Messages that uplifts and inspires. Fantastic sermon given by out brother and leader Carlos Mangual. Our worship leader started off with anionting praises. We could feel the Holy Spirit move through the service. The sound system had been setup, the lighting was bright and the atmosphere felt bright and cheerful. I know, I feel, I keep getting confirmation that we are on the path that God has already prepare for us. It will be something great and mighty.
